15th Conference on "Stochastic Models of Manufacturing and Service Operations" - SMMSO 2026

The 15th Conference on Stochastic Models of Manufacturing and Service Operations will be held at the historic castle "Schloss Edesheim", located in the scenic wine region of southwestern Germany called Pfalz.

The first conference of this series was organized in Samos (Greece) in 1997. Following the conferences in Greece, Netherlands, Italy, and Turkey the fifteenth conference in Germany will bring researchers working in the area of stochastic modeling of manufacturing and service operations together.

The format of this conference has not changed since the first one: invited papers are presented in single-track sessions spread over multiple days. Sufficient time is allocated to meet and discuss research. Social events are also part of the program. This format played a significant role to form a network of researchers specializing in stochastic modeling of manufacturing and service systems.

The event is organized by the International Department (ID) in cooperation with KIT-IFL as the scientific partner.
